ginger peach pie~

I am not a peach eater, I cannot touch the fuzz, its like nails on a chalkboard, it gives me the willies and chills. I found these gorgeous white nectarines at the store, it wasn't until I got home that I noticed the box said white peaches... white peaches, where is the fuzz? not as sweet as nectarines, they still were darn tasty! and most important of all, I was able to touch them! for the first time in my life I could make a peach pie...

 

 

 

your favorite crust
 

about a dozen peaches sliced

4 T fresh ginger

brown sugar

lemon juice

1/4 c cornstarch

1/2 t cinnamon
 

bake at 375 for 80'
