after the storm...

it was one heck of a storm, we received 9" of rain and no property damage outside of wind with fallen branches and debris strewn everywhere with up to 60mph winds. i was eager to get out this morning and survey the damage, i did not expect to be delighted with a this newly opened dahlia...

i love to work hard in my garden, but its high time i thank my real work horses...

oh, and them too...

  1. Thank goodness those straight-line winds did not do too much damage. God had his hand over your garden! Beautiful photos as always -- beautiful garden as always! And your helpers, living and mechanical!

  2. So glad you didn't have any damage from the storm and hurray for the rain...amazing everything was beaten to a pulp in the storm! We could use some rain and are abnormally dry while most the southeast is saturated. Love your work horses, especially the 4-legged ones. ♥
