working in the rose garden, the patio.

my rose garden should be overflowing with color, but after a deer moved into the rose garden for four days this is the only color in sight...

looking at 100s of naked roses is heart breaking...

but the good news today is we are finally wrapping up the rose garden, we had been waiting almost a year for the pavers to finish the upper patio!

a fan shaped patio, tucked into the highest corner, offers a wonderful overall view of the currently naked garden...

still need to cut the pavers to fit the curve, complete a solid deer fence and order the patio furniture to call the rose garden officially done! 

meanwhile, on this cool gray day, just across from the rose garden in the lions share garden these plants are brightening the day~
