in the orchard~

I love apricots! good thing, because I have a bumper crop this year from several trees...

 

 

 

the tree is only 2 years old, but so heavenly laden I fear it will snap in half with hundreds of burnished red apricots...

 

 

 

 

 

 

the nectarines are fast on its heel

 

 

 

I have 4 varieties of apricots, this tree was from the original owner, it very mature with large pale and speckled fruits, I think I would just classify it at organic ;-)

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I am eating so many a day I expect my skin color to turn a pale orange any day now...
