pruning the rose garden

Between storms we are trying hard to wrap up the pruning...



the wild shrub roses are worst



the tunnels just need us to trim the outer arches


Today we pruned 60 roses in this quadrant










thank heavens there was a comfy seating area to rest while toiling








We are about 70% done, I say 3 more days will finish it up, just need the bad weather to move on

    So much pruning. I know in the spring, your roses will be magical.

    My goodness - such a lot of work! You have such a magnificent garden, and it is a lot of toiling! I know! Hopefully the bad weather changes for you soon! Blessings to you - visiting from Linda's site today :)
