our day...

California has been in nonstop storms for 3 weeks, finally they are moving on this morning, with the last bits of cold, gray rain on the horizon...







time to enjoy the change and welcome sunshine on the coast!




we were quickly out the door to walk the neighborhood in the brilliant sunshine and enjoy the native blooming plants... 







the storms have been horrendous with huge downpours and extremely high winds, this charming old barn 


was destroyed ...






Ten days of sun in the forecast, it could not be more welcomed by all!

      Thank you, imagine winds that string to knock over a 100' long barn! The toppled trees from their roots are horrifying, 20' high circles of dirt on end 😢
