a celebration and christening...

After 18 months, we finally were able to enter the hot tub today! With covid the pool construction was agonizingly slow, even when completed in fall it took nearly 2 months just to get a propane delivery to make the very chilly hot tub viable, but it was so worth it! I was ecstatic to discover it took less than an hour to heat the hot tub from 47 to 101 degrees, I had thought it would take 6-8 hours!

 Today was our first step into the hot tub, we celebrated with princess cake and champagne, and the first dry day in weeks in the midst of all our atmospheric rivers of downpours. The rain returns tomorrow for another week, but today was a fabulous introduction to the good life bound to return in the future!
