morning sights...

I have never owned a palm tree, but recently spent hours next to this tree while waiting to purchase pavers. I was so intrigued with its hairy surface, chopped fans and dazzling cascading flowers against the brilliant blue sky...

Up bright and early the next to day to work the garden I was very surprised at the cloudy morning, oh wait, these are not clouds, this is solid smoke from the new huge wildfire near Yosemite, over 100 miles away. 

Pray for safety for all, my heart is breaking for all those working and in harms way.
