Beautiful and I love the sweet nest and tapestry-like weave. I was watering Friday and heard all this thrashing and squawking and saw a 5 foot black snake had made its way into a rose bush and was after a nest of baby birds that I had so carefully tried not to disturb when I was deadheading. I tried to shoo it away with a rake, but it was too late. I don't know who was more distressed, mama bird or me. :(
