    1. Trust me, I will be gone the minute I know something is coming! We had four fires this summer less than a mile away, all quickly extinguished, there is that special recipe of wind and humidity that makes the hairs on your neck stand 😟

  2. I can see how your garden would be a balm to your soul during this scary time. I've been thinking about you wondering exactly where you're situated. I always kept my ears tuned to a mention of VV in northern Ca when you were there. I can't imagine living with the threat of fire like that. I'm watching the news this morning...helicopters dropping water on the edge of the highway as cars hug the far left lanes. Unbelievably scary. I so hope the firefighters are able to get it under control and that your view of the smoke 50 miles away is the closest it comes to you. ♥
