art in the garden~

private edens is laced with such classic and artistic beauty that i thought it would be a fun assignment if we all shared some forms of garden art found in our communities. who hasn't noticed a statue tucked in a public park, or someones garden you drive by that has a special element catching your eye. once again we head out with our cameras in hand to see what we can share...

i was excited to include sculptor patrick dougherty work at hall winery...

i hope you enjoyed visiting in the garden this week with the novel bakers, it has indeed been a full week, ripe with many wonderful books to tempt your garden interests~

thank you for visiting and for the wee handful who have taken the time to comment, thank you so much for sharing your time back with me~

  1. Now this is garden art, from the whimsical to architecture. The rams were my favorite, of course. I love how they are skimming through the weeds. Your photos give the art such depth and beauty. I enjoyed playing in the dirt with you this week. Your photos never fail to inspire me--and your baking is worthy of The Cooking Channel and Food Network. If that's not enough, you top it off with supreme wit. I love the fusion of beauty, laughter, and great food. It doesn't get any better. xxoo

Here in Oklahoma we have a few painted buffalos around town..will have to get out and photograph them. Gorgeous posts from the Novel Bakers this week....I enjoyed them all! Thanks!
