Once again, I'm always amazed at your creativity! I totally missed the carved poached pears, I'm going to blame it on the tiny print :) So many darling ideas and inspiration from this adorable book, thanks so much for recommending it! I'm going back for seconds to see all your wonderful garden bits & pieces from yesterday...
I'm entranced by the spirals on the pears. Like Mary, I totally missed this section! I love when food and art collide, and you do it wonderfully. And look at that beautiful, perfectly browned tart. I made a pear tart, but it was so horrid, I fed it to the chickens!(Puff pastry curled up and died.) You've given us a magical week!
Jain, it is such a joy to see you play with food and books. Your creativity never ceases to amaze! I pulled my little book off the shelf to savor again along with the Novel Bakers. It's long been a favorite, but you girls have given me a new way to appreciate it even more.
Your carved pears, WOW! These Novel Bakers weeks always wear me out, there is so much to see and take in, I can't do it all at once, I have to take several days~especially for your posts Jain, I could look at your photos all day! The illustrations in this sweet book are just delightful, I loved that you shared so many pages :) Jenna
I am so behind in my Novel Bakers reading...but what fun I'm having catching up. Loved this post. The pear tart looks so yummy. I'd love a piece right now with a cup of tea. This book is so darling and I am enjoying the way you are sharing it so much.
