Chocolate Oreo Cream Pie

Oreo crust

30 Oreos for deep dish pie

5 T butter

Whirl cookies, pour in bowl add melted butter, press.

350° for 10-12'

Refrigerate

Chocolate pudding

1/3 c sugar

2 1/2 c milk

6 egg yolks

2 T cornstarch

6 T butter chopped

8 oz chocolate chips

1 1\2 T vanilla

Mix sugar and milk in sauce pan, barely simmer. Mix egg yolks and cornstarch in bowl, temper with hot milk with several spoonfuls of hot milk. Mix eggs in sauce pan, will thicken to slow boil. Remove from heat and butter, chocolate and vanilla. Pour over cool crust, cover with plastic wrap and chill 5 hours.

Whipped topping

1 c whipping cream

2 T powder sugar

1 1/2 t vanilla

Sprinkle with shaved chocolate
