garden chronicles, the kitchen garden part 2

spring has sprung, and it is a super busy time of the year! between tweaking all the sprinklers, mowing the acreage for fire safety, and beauty, of course, planting, pruning and primping, major projects have been put on the back burner. the kitchen garden has been idle again, but my red simplicity rose hedge arrived bare root and was instantly tucked in their new beds. my husband made a large arch which I planted with lady in red. we are torn between two projects, the rose garden and kitchen garden, since one feeds us my money is on the kitchen garden is up next!
