blue friday~

who cares about black friday when you wake up to a stellar blue day by the sea! after a brisk swim in the crystal blue pool we dined seaside in our little cottage and watched dozens of whales in the deep blue sea. armed with binoculars and camera we headed off to point reyes for a closer spot to enjoy the great migration south. it was exhilarating, i watched tails splashing and heads blasting, many dozens passed by as i squealed with delight. an extra bonus was watching the herds of elk enjoy the cold crisp crystal clear blue day by the sea~

Heaven, that is what that is. Just plain heaven.

Sounds like a perfect day! I didn't venture out on Black Friday, but stayed snuggled up on the sofa beside a cozy fire. It is wet and cold here.
Beautiful photos of your amazing seaside life.

What a joy to watch the migration. The photos are so gorgeous, Jain, like something from a dream. I actually went shopping on BF (first time in a long, long time) and hit the jackpot for winter clothes (mostly for my mom). Bought a bird feeder and a blue bird house, too.

I much prefer Blue Friday to Black Friday :) I can't get over the wildlife you're able to capture and see, and a whale migration and sighting would be thrilling!
