Tomato pie
Thickly cut 4 tomatoes
Lay on paper towel and sprinkle with salt for 45'
Crust
1 1/2 C cheddar
3/4 C flour
Salt
Pulse together in cuisine art
Add
1/4 C butter
1-2 T cream
Pulse
Press into fluted tart pan
Add
5 slices crumbled bacon
Press into crust
Bake 350° for 20'
Filling
8 oz block cream cheese
Fresh basil
Fresh thyme
Garlic
Pepper
Spread over crust
Top with basil pesto
Add tomatoes
Bake 350° for 20'
I am going to have to try that. It looks amazing! I've seen a lot of tomato pies, but yours looks the best!
