quick lunch~

sausage links
bread of your choice in a can
roll flat, cut into 4 sections, roll over sausage, cut and twist
bake according to can
 
 
great with soup and salad for fun meal

on top of old smokey...

 
 
 
 
s'mores cheesecake
 
preheat oven to 325
 
crust
1 1/4 c cinnamon graham crackers crushed
5 T sugar
5 T butter
 
combine and press in pan
bake for 10'
 
filling
24 oz cream cheese
1c sugar
2 t flour
3/4 c cocoa powder
4 eggs
1 cup sour cream
 
mix first four ingredients, add eggs and sour cream
 
drop oven to 300 degrees
wrap cheesecake in aluminum foil and bake in water bath for 90'
 
chill for several hours until firm
 
topping
jumbo marshmallows
hot fudge sauce
 
cover as generous as you like with marshmallows, bake at 350 for 12' until they puff, ooze, dribble over and brown
 
drizzle with hot fudge sauce
 
warning
this is ultra rich, gooey, and VERY hard to cut! when fresh from the oven the marshmallows are crispy and hard to cut, when cooled, marshmallows are sticky and impossible to cut, they just squish, if you like sweet and messy, this recipe is for you!

holiday pizza~

 
 
 
holiday pizza
preheat oven to 425
 
puff pastry
olive oil
cranberry sauce
bacon
red onion
gorgonzola
rosemary
 
take one sheet of puff pastry and score outside, brush with olive oil
 
sauté
red onion
bacon
rosemary
 
spread cranberry sauce on puff pastry
scatter bacon and onion mixture
top with gorgonzola
 
bake for 25'
let cool for 5-10' before cutting

sweet and savory~

 
strawberry and brie hand pies
preheat oven to 350

two rolls of prefab pie crusts

cook the following over medium heat until thick and bubbly for 10'

 strawberries around 1 to 1.5 cups cut up
1/2 c sugar
2 T cornstarch
(rosemary optional)

cut 4" circles from pie crusts
place sliced brie in center
top with strawberry jam
cover and pinch closed
Brush with egg or milk wash

 bake for 20-25' until golden

5 T brown sugar
3 T  cinnamon
 
roll long side
slice in half
braid
twist
tuck
 
bake at 400 for 20-25'
 
drizzle with mixture of
powder sugar
milk
